Growing Disciples of Jesus

The Farm at Bible Grove was established in the fall of 2022 as a one-of-a-kind Christian "Glamping" Resort offering recovery and restoration to the weary as well as Christian spiritual, educational and discipleship retreats. With our own 27 acres nestled between the five lakes and 55,000 acres of wilderness surrounding the Natchez Trace State Park, we offer luxury accommodation, seclusion for those seeking to improve their Christian walk, discover their purpose or refine their ministry.

We also specialize in Christian retreats for couples or groups that include all the great outdoor activities that the park has to offer: boating, fishing, hiking, horse back riding, ATV and off-roading, biking, hunting, nature watching, camping and more. Whether guests prefer a premium hotel experience, a private cabin or a villa to share with family and friends, an RV campsite or simple tent camping, The Farm at Bible Grove will have it all.

Our Mission...

Jesus gave us the "Great Commission" in the book of Matthew, when he said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age’” (Matthew 28:18-20, ESV).

While we believe strongly in evangelism, we also believe the corporate Church today is, in large part, missing the mark when it comes to the Great Commission. For many years, the Church has focused on making more believers in Christ, but without instruction, those believers may miss out on so much more that Jesus offers beyond eternal life. While we celebrate their decision to believe in Him and accept Him as their Savior, we want to also empower those believers to walk in the fullness of what Jesus offers each of us when we make Him Lord over our lives. Only then, can we find hope, healing from past wounds. reconciliation of lost relationships, purpose in life, true joy, true peace, honest rest and the overwhelming love of our Creator. Only then, will the Kingdom grow the way God grows things... by making more believers into disciples or as Jesus described them, "fishers of men."

Our Mission is to help those in faith grow in the disciplines of their faith: Prayer, fasting, obedience, seclusion, Bible study, discipling and service to others in their community.

Our Model...

The Farm at Bible Grove is a 501C3 Christian non-profit organization. We offer our guests a one-of-a-kind wilderness retreat where they can experience God's presence, enjoy the beauty of His creation and embrace all of His calling and purpose in their lives.

God brought the Israelites into the wilderness, because He wanted to speak to them at Mount Sinai. This is where He spoke to Moses. Abraham remained in the wilderness for many years. Abraham went into the wilderness and stayed. God met with Elijah in the wilderness. It was in the wilderness when God spoke to John the Baptist, who spent most of his life there. Wilderness appears in the Bible regularly and, what is more, it is often the background of significant events. When God freed His people from slavery in Egypt, He didn’t bring them straight into the Promised Land. He took them on a journey first. And not just any journey – He took them into the wilderness for 40 years.

The wilderness of the Judean hills is where the Holy Spirit sent Jesus before the start of his public ministry. He was in the desert so that God could have a conversation with him. Jesus didn’t wander into the desert by accident. He went there on purpose, because He wanted to hear from God. This shows us once again how deep the meaning of wilderness is in the Bible. Abraham, Moses, Isaiah, Elijah – none of them were in the wilderness by accident. God wanted to speak with them, and what better place for an important meeting than the one where there are no distractions.

At first, that idea of wilderness may not sound pleasant. The wilderness? Why should we spend any time there? It’s hard, it’s lonely, and its stillness is deafening. But, God has a plan. And just as he revealed himself to the Israelites as wandered through the desert, God wants to reveal Himself to all of us (you), now more than ever. The wilderness, in many ways is a way to disconnect from the world and re-connect with our Heavenly Father.

The Farm at Bible Grove simply provides the wilderness. A place of serine quiet, surrounded by the beauty of His creation where He can reveal Himself once again.
